Comcon are delighted to have been invited to perform the Project Management role on a new project in Pattaya. Located on Naklua Soi 10, The Navana Resort.
The Navana Resort is classed as a medium sized project on a plot of land that is approximately 9 rai in size. This new boutique resort will be made up of 60 luxury rooms along with 11 magnificent and perfectly appointed villas. Some of the villas will have direct beach access whilst others will lead directly on to the swimming pool. This will be an extremely private resort and one where guests can fully relax. The fact that the hotel overlooks the Sanctuary of Truth just adds to the experience.
Of course, being a luxury resort, The Navana will have all the amenities that you would expect. The communal faculties will include a large main pool, a kid’s pool a high-end spa and massage facility along with a state-of-the-art fitness room that will also include a steam room to help soothe the aches and pains. The hotel, once complete, will offer some very serious competition to other hotels in the area.
Comcon will play a full and active role in our position as Project Managers. This means that we have been heavily involved at the planning stage and will be throughout the entire construction phase until handover is complete. Our renowned negotiation skills, diplomacy and man management will need to be utilised not to mention our expertise and experience within the construction industry. Our skilled teams will ensure that the project is delivered on time and on budget.
In terms of the budget and cost, it is anticipated that it will be in the region of THB200 million and, as mentioned earlier, pushing this into the medium sized bracket as far as Comcon are concerned. The THB200 million will be spent on the main construction of the building, the interior layout and design of the guest rooms, quality landscaping and creating manicured gardens, improvements to the swimming pool areas along with enhancing some of the public areas.
In order to minimised disruption and to get the resort fully operational, a tight construction timeframe has been set at just 20 months. The developer is naturally keen to ensure that the project encounters no delays and that is why they employed the services of Comcon due to our reputation for excellence, professionalism and efficiency. Of course, we had to fight of some stiff competition, something that we are becoming increasingly used to and successful at.
