Comcon ventures back to Bangladesh

In October, the MD of Comcon, Joe Grunwell, visited Bangladesh in order to renew old acquaintances; this included a visit to Sheik Waliar who is the Company Secretary for the owner of Le Meridien in Dhaka (photo below). Waliar has been an old friend to Comcon over many years, especially whilst the hotel was being constructed.

Comcon also visited three gentlemen from Amigo (Steven Yang, Khaw Khek Min and Arif Ahmed Khan) who discussed the second phase of their project with Joe Grunwell, after Phase 1 came to a successful completion.

Khurshid Almeher of Kaymonto and Ghulam Mostafa of the Kallol Group, also had meetings with Comcon about active participation in their projects.

Joe then continued discussions regarding a joint venture with Rabuil Hassan of Sthapana Architects.

All in all an excellent marketing visit with true Bangladeshi hospitality.
